A retail store is looking for a strong leader to run the Cedar Falls location.

Key responsibilities:

• Adhering to operational policies and procedures 
• Using broad business knowledge to affect store results, including sales and customer engagement while operating within budgetary limits.
• Ensuring weekly work schedules are created to maximize productivity and engagement
• Promoting engagement and morale within the staff by understanding individual motivation and needs, recognizing and rewarding successful performance, and helping them achieve career goals
• Leading recruiting, onboarding and training for all employee levels in the store
• Cultivating a learning culture by providing exceptional onboarding and development opportunities, along with coaching and feedback
• Connecting with community organizations to partner on events and marketing opportunities.

Qualifications: 

• 2+ years experience leading retail teams
• 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
• Microsoft Office knowledge is a must, as well as good communication skills.
• Ability to operate all equipment – including a forklift – as well as being able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must be able to work flexible schedules, have reliable transportation, must pass a background screening, and be 18 years of age or older.
